About the Opportunity

O’Neil Scott has an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate / Senior Accountant to join their team in Milton, just a few minutes west of the Brisbane CBD. In this rewarding accounting position, some of your specific responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of financial statements, Business Activity Statements (BAS), tax returns and compliance requirements for a variety of clients;
• Creation of cash flows and budgets;
• Preparation of interim reports and tax estimates;
• Professionally liaise with clients and the Australian Tax Office via telephone and email

The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in commerce or business, and should be studying towards or have completed a CA or CPA qualification. O’Neil Scott are looking for a highly motivated Accountant with excellent attention-to-detail and strong communication skills. You’ll be knowledgeable and proficient with accounting software, such as MYOB, Quickbooks, Banklink, BGL Simplefund & CAS, or similar. Ideally, you will also have approximately 3 years + of accounting experience within a public practice firm.
